Basketball Recap: Newman Grove/St. Edward Comes Up Short

Newman Grove/St. Edward was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 55-29 to the Twin River Titans.

Despite the loss, Newman Grove/St. Edward still got an impressive performance from Kailey Patzel, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 25 boards. That was a full 65.5% of Newman Grove/St. Edward's points, marking the third time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points.

Newman Grove/St. Edward's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Twin River, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.
