Volleyball Recap: Morrison Mustangs vs. Milledgeville Missiles
Morrison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Milledgeville Missiles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Missiles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.
The final score came out to 25-14, 25-13.
Morrison's offense was headlined by Elle Milnes and Allie Anderson, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Leah Young and her seven assists.
Natalie Pilgrim was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 11 digs and two assists. Macey Schryver also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.
Morrison's loss dropped their record down to 10-13-2. As for Milledgeville, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.
