Carlisle has no trouble against Alto

Recap: Carlisle Indians vs. Alto Yellowjackets
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Overton, The Carlisle Indians were happy to have found some success on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 35-18 victory over Alto. For Carlisle, this counts as revenge for the 36-31 loss Alto walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2022.
Leading Carlisle to victory were Tony Ibarra and Jonathan Lopez. Ibarra rushed for 85 yards and two touchdowns, while Lopez rushed for 103 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries.
Carlisle's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Alto, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
Carlisle will face off against Lovelady at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lovelady is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Alto, they will head out on the road to face off against Beckville at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Beckville knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past nine contests -- so hopefully Alto likes a good challenge.
