The Mishawaka Cavemen will square off against the Carroll Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Mishawaka's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Northridge with a sharp 10-0 win. The Cavemen haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Not much got past Camila Rameriz, who gave up just three hits and racked up 13 Ks to keep Northridge off the board. Rameriz has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Shea Crawford was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs and one stolen base. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Mika Mercado was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Mishawaka was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .410. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last game, Carroll made sure to put some runs up on the board against Fort Wayne Snider on Wednesday. The Chargers blew past the Panthers 13-1.
Carroll got a massive performance out of Taylor Danley, who went 1-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and one stolen base. That home run was Danley's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Tessa Patterson, who went 2-for-4 with two triples, two RBI, and one run.
Mishawaka's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-4. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Carroll, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.
Friday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Mishawaka hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .381. However, it's not like Carroll struggles in that department as they've averaged .332. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
