Softball Game Preview: West Ranch Wildcats vs. St. Bonaventure Seraphs

The West Ranch Wildcats will face off against the St. Bonaventure Seraphs at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with West Ranch sitting on nine straight wins and St. Bonaventure on four.

West Ranch is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They skirted past Cerritos 9-7.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: West Ranch kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are 10-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

Meanwhile, St. Bonaventure beat JW North 4-1 on Saturday.

West Ranch's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-14. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for St. Bonaventure, their victory bumped their record up to 17-11.
