Recap: Hough Huskies vs. Mooresville Blue Devils
The Hough Huskies won the last time they faced the Mooresville Blue Devils, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Hough walked away with a 47-38 win over Mooresville. Given Hough's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 63rd, while Mooresville is ranked 364th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Hough found their leader in underclassman Kate Breault, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 10 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexis Otto, who scored 12 points along with 5 rebounds.
Hough pushed their record up to 5-1 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Mooresville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Hough will head out on the road to face off against North Mecklenburg at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mooresville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Statesville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Statesville is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
