Volleyball Recap: Buffalo Comes Up Short

If Buffalo was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Roane County on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bison took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Philip Barbour Colts on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bison of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-16.

Amya Bias paced Buffalo's offense, picking up four kills. Bias got some help from Claire Sunyog and her seven assists.

Buffalo's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Philip Barbour, their win bumped their record up to 15-5-1.

Coincidentally, Buffalo and Philip Barbour will both be playing Oak Glen the next time they take the court. The Bison will head out to face the Golden Bears at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Colts will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
