Baseball Recap: Livingston Central Comes Up Short

Livingston Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Obion County Rebels. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cardinals of the 7-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Livingston Central's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Obion County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-13.

Livingston Central has already played their next match, an 11-1 defeat against Mayfield on the 19th. As for Obion County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 7-2 loss against Dyersburg on the 21st.
