Soccer Recap: Walled Lake Western Takes a Loss

Walled Lake Western was the 3-1 winner over Lakeland when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. Walled Lake Western fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Lakeland since Tuesday.

Walled Lake Western has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4-2 record this season. As for Lakeland, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.
