Sequoyah had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Roland Rangers. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rangers, too.

Sequoyah now has a winning record of 16-15. As for Roland, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-22.

Sequoyah wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 13-1 win against Morris on the 30th. As for Roland, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-4 victory against Valliant on the 30th.
