Union County has gone 8-2 against Cambridge City Lincoln recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Patriots will take on the Golden Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Union County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.

On Thursday, Union County came up short against Eastern Hancock and fell 11-7. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Carsyn Garrett was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Mackinzey Carter, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one run.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 21 runs the game before, Cambridge City Lincoln was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They came up short against Eastern Hancock, falling 14-2. The Golden Eagles have struggled against the Royals recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Addyson Pitcock made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. That stolen base was her first of the season.

Union County now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Cambridge City Lincoln, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

Everything went Union County's way against Cambridge City Lincoln in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Union County made off with an 11-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Patriots since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
