Volleyball Recap: Canon City's Winning Streak Snapped at Six Games

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Canon City can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Palmer Ridge Bears on Saturday. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bears from their previous meeting back in September of 2015.

Despite the loss, Canon City still got an impressive performance from Raegen John, who had six aces. John is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

With the loss, Canon City broke their six-match winning streak and moved their record to 18-6. As for Palmer Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 7-18.

Canon City has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Lewis-Palmer on the 8th. Palmer Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
