Basketball Game Preview: Harrisville Pirates vs. Colton-Pierrepont Colts

Harrisville has gone a perfect 4-0 against Colton-Pierrepont recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Harrisville Pirates will face off against the Colton-Pierrepont Colts at 6:00 p.m. Harrisville has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.

Harrisville is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They blew past Morristown Central 73-35. The Pirates have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Aiden Chartrand continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 26 points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Joe Shepherd, who posted 15 points.

Meanwhile, Colton-Pierrepont didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Hammond Central on Wednesday, but they still walked away with a 45-41 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Colts.

Harrisville better keep an eye on Ty Farns. He was instrumental in Colton-Pierrepont's win, earning 18 points along with six boards and four steals. Cody Trimm was another key player, posting 13 points and five rebounds.

Harrisville's record is now 16-5. As for Colton-Pierrepont, their record is now 10-11.

Everything came up roses for Harrisville against Colton-Pierrepont in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 61-22 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Harrisville since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
