Basketball Game Preview: Glide Wildcats vs. Days Creek Wolves

After both having extra time off, the Glide Wildcats and the Days Creek Wolves will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Glide has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Glide is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They came out on top against Myrtle Point by a score of 49-38 last Friday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Wildcats with their most commanding win of the season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Days Creek, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They walked away with a 60-50 victory over Willamette Valley Christian last Saturday.

Days Creek's win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points per game. As for Glide, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.

Glide strolled past Days Creek when the teams last played back in January of 2020 by a score of 55-39. Does Glide have another victory up their sleeve, or will Days Creek turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
