Volleyball Recap: Covina Takes a Loss + How To Watch

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Covina and Charter Oak had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Colts took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chargers on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Covina was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Charter Oak work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 20-25, 25-18, 25-20.

Covina dropped their record down to 18-10 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Charter Oak, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Covina nor Charter Oak have any future games scheduled.
