Lee is 2-8 against Mount Everett Regional since April of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Wildcats will challenge the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Lee has three straight victories, Mount Everett Regional has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Lee barely beat Gateway Regional the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Gators with a sharp 31-0 win on Thursday. That looming 31-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Wildcats yet this season.

Friday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Lee has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .479. However, it's not like Mount Everett Regional struggles in that department as they've averaged .475. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
