Football Recap: Clairton's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Clairton had won two straight games and Jeff Thompson did his part to make it three on Friday. The Bears blew past the Frazier Commodores, posting a 72-0 win with plenty of help from Thompson, who threw for 170 yards and five touchdowns while completing 87.5% of his passes, and also rushed for 66 yards and one score. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played.

Special teams was a major factor in the game for Clairton, racking up 12 points in total. All those points came courtesy of Rheyjon Williams: he added 12 points with four field goals.

Clairton's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Frazier, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.
