Battle Ground Academy barely beat Harpeth the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Indians with a sharp 11-2 win on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won ten matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.
Eily Wolfe made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over 4.2 innings pitched. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Lauren Atkins was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. Battle Ground Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Harpeth only managed three hits.

The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for Harpeth, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-8-1.
