Bryan is 8-1 against Omaha North since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bears will challenge the Vikings at 4:30 p.m.

Bryan managed to keep up with Creighton Prep until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Bears came up short against the Junior Jays, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Bryan can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska soccer rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while Creighton Prep are ranked first).

Meanwhile, Omaha North hadn't done well against Bellevue East recently (they were 1-7-1 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Vikings never let the Chieftains get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. That's two games straight that Omaha North have won by exactly two goals.

The win made it two in a row for Omaha North and bumps their season record up to 5-7. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two games. As for Bryan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5.

Bryan took their win against Omaha North when the teams last played back in April of 2022 by a conclusive 6-0 score. Will the Bears repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
