Volleyball Recap: Norton Victorious + How To Watch

Norton saw some tournament action on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Ulysses Tigers 2-1.

Norton had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-22, 25-23.

Norton found their leader in sophomore Halle Pfannenstiel, who had 24 digs. Those 24 digs set a new season-high mark for Pfannenstiel. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Schlegel, who had six digs and three aces.

The win got Norton back to even at 2-2.

Norton has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Colby on the 30th. Ulysses has also already played their next matchup (against Otis-Bison), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
