It was a good run, but Liberty unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They lost 65-40 to the Fairmont Senior Polar Bears. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Mountaineers have suffered since December 12, 2024.

Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Fairmont Senior, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.
