Softball Recap: Providence Christian Comes Up Short

Providence Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 13-4 to the Slocomb Red Tops. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2022.

Providence Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Slocomb, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Providence Christian will face off against Northside Methodist Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Slocomb, they will square off against Wicksburg at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
