Softball Recap: Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences Vipers vs. Fulton Jaguars

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Community Charter, Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Everything went their way against the Fulton Jaguars as Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences made off with a 19-6 win. The Vipers haven't had any issues with the Jaguars recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Jillian Hernandez and Kaida Vorster did most of the damage at the plate: Hernandez scored four runs and stole two bases while going 5-for-5, while Vorster scored two runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-4. That's the most stolen bases Hernandez has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Ruth Zambrano, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.
