Basketball Recap: Wilkinson County Wildcats vs. Natchez Bulldogs
Wilkinson County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 71-21 defeat at the hands of the Natchez Bulldogs. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-6.
They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of JaNorris Anthony and Germarkus Patterson, who each put up six points. Robert White held things down on the boards with four rebounds. Jayden ?Duk? Dunbar took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with three assists.
Wilkinson County's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Natchez, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wilkinson County will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off.
