Prospect extended their road winning streak to eight games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Allison Linke. The Prospect Knights snuck past the Glenbard West Hilltoppers with a 62-58 victory on Thursday thanks in part to Linke, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 boards. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last 12 games she's played.
Another player making a difference was Sadie Splinter, who posted six points and five assists. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in assists.
Prospect's record now sits at 14-4. As for Glenbard West, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-7.
Prospect won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Wheeling at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Glenbard West, they will head out to take on York at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
