Baseball Recap: Bunker Hill Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three contests, Bunker Hill finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They fell just short of the West Lincoln Rebels by a score of 2-0. The Bears haven't had much luck with the Rebels recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Bunker Hill saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Skyler Marlowe, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Bunker Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for West Lincoln, they now also have a winning record of 8-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Bunker Hill will face off against rival East Burke at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, West Lincoln is set to take on their familiar foe Newton-Conover at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
