Softball Recap: Archimedes Victorious

While Archimedes's win against South Bronx wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Archimedes skirted past South Bronx 10-9. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Archimedes has posted since May 1, 2024.

Nahomy Del Rosario was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, six RBI, and three runs. Another player making a difference was Ashley Palacios, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Archimedes' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for South Bronx, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Coincidentally, Archimedes and South Bronx will both be playing Bronx United the next time they take the field. Archimedes will host Bronx United at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while South Bronx will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
