Softball Recap: Livingston Central Now 14-1 over Last 15 Games

While Livingston Central's win against Crittenden County wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cardinals narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Rockets 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Cardinals have posted against the Rockets since April 25, 2023.

Livingston Central has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Crittenden County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-15.

Livingston Central has already played their next game (against Trigg County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Crittenden County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
