Basketball Recap: Cherokee Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hooker, Cherokee was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tonkawa Buccaneers, sneaking past 37-35.

Cherokee's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Tonkawa, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Cherokee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 62-35 defeat against Perry on the 14th. As for Tonkawa, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 43-21 win against Ringwood on the 14th.
