Baseball Recap: Brewer Comes Up Short

Brewer came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 7-1 to the Mansfield Legacy Broncos.

Brewer saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was David Ellington, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double and one RBI. That hit was Ellington's first of the season.

Brewer's loss dropped their record down to 17-10. As for Mansfield Legacy, they pushed their record up to 19-8 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Brewer beat the Broncos by a score of 6-5 later that day.
