Soccer Game Preview: Burbank vs. Valley

The Burbank Titans will take on the Valley Vikings at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

While Burbank's win against Fairfield wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Titans narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Falcons 2-1.

Sulaiman Farukhi and Ricardo Gamez Martinez scored both of Burbank's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Meanwhile, Valley waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Their defense stepped up to hand the Warriors a 4-0 shutout. Valley might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 contests by three goals or more this season.

Burbank's win bumped their record up to 9-7-2. As for Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 19-2-5.
