Volleyball Recap: Apalachee Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Apalachee faced off against Jackson County on Monday. The Wildcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-0 loss two weeks ago.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-13.

Apalachee's defeat dropped their record down to 24-17. As for Jackson County, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-7 record this season.

Apalachee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Habersham Central on the 7th. As for Jackson County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Loganville on the 7th.
