 After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Big Spring, Boiling Springs was happy to have turned things around  on Monday. They were the clear victor by  an  8-1 margin over the West York Area Bulldogs. With that  win, Boiling Springs brought their scoring average up to 6.1  runs per game.
  Phoenix Houser spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered one  run (which was  unearned)  on one hit and racked up eight Ks. Those eight  strikeouts set a new season-high mark for him.
 At the plate,  Keegan Williamson was a standout: he scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of  Matthew McNair, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-4.
 Boiling Springs' victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for West York Area, their defeat was  their third straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 13-7.
 Boiling Springs will take on Littlestown at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. West York Area does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
