Baseball Recap: Concord Academy Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Concord Academy not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 19, 2024. They blew past the Lee Park Prep Knights 15-5. The Eagles' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Kade Brown made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Brown was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Gray Madeira was a standout: he scored two runs while getting on base in four of his six plate appearances. Those runs marked the first that he scored this season. Noah Hatley was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.

As for Lee Park Prep, they will face off against Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Lee Park Prep has given up an average of 10.2 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
