Volleyball Recap: Pacific Ridge Firebirds vs. Patrick Henry Patriots

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Pacific Ridge had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Patrick Henry Patriots. This was a revenge game for the Firebirds: when they faced off against the Patriots last Saturday, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-22, 25-16.

Safin Zaslansky paced Pacific Ridge's offense, picking up 18 kills. Zaslansky got some help from Jake Streitman and his 38 assists. Zaslansky also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Brecken Armstrong, racking up two apiece.
