Baseball Recap: Contreras Comes Up Short

Contreras was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Roybal Titans, falling 19-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-6 back in March.

Manuel Alvarado was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Contreras' defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Roybal, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-8.

While Contreras had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
