It was a proper cat-fight when KIPP Navigate College Prep duked it out with Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit on Tuesday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

While KIPP Navigate College Prep won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22, 25-13.

KIPP Navigate College Prep was led to victory by Hope Gutierrez and Andrea Munquia. Gutierrez had five aces, while Munquia had five aces. Those five aces gave Gutierrez a new career-high.

KIPP Navigate College Prep's win bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-14.
