Basketball Recap: Aucilla Christian Victorious

There's no place like home for Aucilla Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 51-50 win over the Hamilton County Trojans. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Aucilla Christian's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Avery Emerick, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 15 boards. Emerick has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more rebounds the last nine times she's played. Georgia Lindsey was another key player, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 11 boards.
