Softball Recap: Dana Hills Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Dana Hills lost against Capistrano Valley back in February of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Dolphins fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 4-2. Dolphins fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Cougars since on Wednesday.

Dana Hills saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trinity Leclair, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Dana Hills' loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-9. As for Capistrano Valley, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 11-10.

Coincidentally, Dana Hills and Capistrano Valley will both be playing Aliso Niguel the next time they take the field. The Cougars will head out to face the Wolverines at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Dolphins will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
