Basketball Recap: Campbell-Savona Comes Up Short

Campbell-Savona was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 71-36 loss at the hands of the Canisteo-Greenwood Chargers. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 832nd, while the Chargers are ranked 177th).

Campbell-Savona's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Canisteo-Greenwood, they pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Campbell-Savona will challenge Wayland-Cohocton at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Campbell-Savona is facing Wayland-Cohocton at the right time seeing as Wayland-Cohocton is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Canisteo-Greenwood, they will face off against Hammondsport at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
