Underwood has gone a perfect 5-0 against Clarinda recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Eagles are taking a road trip to square off against the Cardinals. Underwood's pitching crew has only allowed 2.2 runs per game this season, so Clarinda's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Wednesday, it was close, but Underwood sidestepped Harlan for a 6-5 victory. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Cyclones: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Clarinda entered their tilt with Shenandoah on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Mustangs get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Clarinda's win bumped their record up to 10-15. As for Underwood, their victory bumped their record up to 21-2.
