Basketball Recap: Warner Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Warner can now relate to. They took a 50-35 bruising from the Waverly/South Shore Coyotes on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Monarchs in their meetings with the Coyotes: they've now lost three in a row.

Warner's loss dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Waverly/South Shore, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

Warner does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Waverly/South Shore, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Leola/Frederick at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Leola/Frederick will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Waverly/South Shore surely won't give up without a fight.
