Douglas County posted their closest win since October 12, 2024 on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the ThunderRidge Grizzlies 3-2. That's more bragging rights for the Huskies, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (108-106) Douglas County actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-23, 20-25, 25-23, 15-12.

Reese Millar paced Douglas County's offense, picking up 28 kills. Millar got some help from Ady Millar and her 41 assists. Reese was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.

The victory made it two in a row for Douglas County and bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for ThunderRidge, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-6.
