Floresville is 4-0 against Hondo since February of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Floresville Tigers/Jaguars will venture away from home to challenge the Hondo Owls at 5:00 p.m. Floresville will be strutting in after a win while Hondo will be coming in after a defeat.

Floresville headed into their last matchup having not scored more than one goal for six straight, but Pleasanton let them put that streak behind them. Floresville was the clear victor by a 6-0 margin over Pleasanton on Tuesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Tigers/Jaguars as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Hondo was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They fell 2-0 to Somerset. The Owls have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Hondo's loss dropped their record down to 1-6-2. As for Floresville, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-6.

Floresville beat Hondo by a goal when the teams last played back in March of 2024, winning 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Floresville since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
