Softball Recap: Eau Claire North's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Hudson hit Eau Claire North with a four-run fifth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Huskies fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 7-6. Huskies fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Raiders since on Tuesday.

Grace Fuerst made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Eau Claire North's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-8. As for Hudson, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-5.

While Eau Claire North had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
