Recap: Rosamond Roadrunners vs. Taft Wildcats
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for The Rosamond Roadrunners, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They had to suffer through a rough 71-34 loss at the hands of Taft. Rosamond has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Cameron Cash went supernova for Taft, rushing for 215 yards and five touchdowns on only 14 carries. Cash was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 55 yards. Cash Clark also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Rosamond's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Taft, their victory bumped their record up to 5-6.
Rosamond does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Taft will head out on the road to face off against Mendota at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in California (Mendota is ranked 639th, while Taft is ranked 631st).
