Softball Recap: Ridgeline Riverhawks vs. Cedar Reds

With a playoff game on the line, Ridgeline rose to the challenge on Thursday. They never let the Cedar Reds onto the board and left with a 10-0 victory. Ridgeline might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won 25 contests by six runs or more this season.

Brielle Gardiner made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over six innings pitched. Gardiner was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with four RBI.

In other batting news, Ridgeline let Anne Wallace and Kylie Jorgensen loose on the outfield. Wallace went 2-for-2 with a home run, a stolen base, and two RBI, while Jorgensen scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Adisyn Hansen, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

The win (which was Ridgeline's 11th in a row) raised their record to 28-1. As for Cedar, their loss dropped their record down to 21-9.
