Holliday is 9-1 against Bowie since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Eagles will face off against the Jackrabbits at 5:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Monday.

Bowie will be up against a hot Holliday team: the squad just extended their winning streak to four. The Eagles never let Vernon get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won eight matches by eight runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bowie). They were the clear victors by a 24-7 margin over City View on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Jackrabbits.

Kp Rutherford was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and six unearned) runs off seven hits. Rutherford was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with three RBI.

In other batting news, Sadie Britt was a standout: she went 5-for-6 with one home run, four runs, and four RBI. Chloe Kinney was another key player, going 4-for-6 with four runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Bowie kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 25 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Holliday's record is now 15-7-1. As for Bowie, their record now sits at 6-16.

Holliday took their win against Bowie when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 12-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
