Football Recap: Drumright Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Drumright can now relate to. They were beaten by the Quinton Savages 58-14 on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Savages this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 28-14 back in September.

Drumright's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-5. As for Quinton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Drumright does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Quinton, they are taking a road trip to face off against Hollis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Savages 13.9, the Tigers 11.6) so any points scored will be well earned.
