Logan/Palco had won 14 straight games and Rhett Kats did his part to make it 15 on Friday. Logan/Palco were the clear victor by a 50-27 margin over the Wheatland-Grinnell Thunderhawks thanks to Kats, who went 6-for-8 en route to 16 points along with eight boards and six steals. His evening made it 17 games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points.

Ethan Gaschler was another key player, going 7-for-10 on his way to 16 points. Those 16 points gave him a new career-high.

Despite the defeat, Wheatland-Grinnell saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Spencer Beckman posted ten points. Beckman also brought in his first three-point shooting accuracy of the season. Another player making a difference was Riley Tuttle, who scored 13 points.

Logan/Palco's victory bumped their record up to 15-0. As for Wheatland-Grinnell, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.

Logan/Palco wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 70-47 win against Weskan on the 8th. As for Wheatland-Grinnell, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 49-32 victory against Golden Plains on the 8th.
